1) First problem was LIGHTING. The room that we had planned to use for recording did not have the right lighting and it was not clear enough to see the SE1 News background. Another problem that we had with the lighting was that the low lighting did not go well with the tone of Runi's skin and Runi's height it was hard to see her through the camera lens and we decided that this location wasnt going to be good enough.
2) Second problem was FINDING ANOTHER ROOM. After walking around most of the school trying to find a classroom that had an interactive whiteboard and projector we finally found one that was quiet and not in use.
3) Third problem was FINDING THE PROPS. After realising that the majority of news programmes are filmed with the anchor sitting down at a desk we had to find a desk that was suitable enough while still looking professional. After already having a problem with Runi's height we had no choice but to stack SIX chairs one on top of the other so that we could visibly see her in the lens. The next problem was finding a table high enough to get in the camera range too.
< This shot shows our attempt at making the table high enough, first of all we stacked the tables on top of eachother. This method did not work. Next we tried stacking books under the stacked tables, this STILL didnt work.
Our final attempt LUCKILY worked! I came up with the idea of me sitting underneath the table (out of view of the camera) holding the table up, as well as Runi crossing her legs to hold up the other side.
