One of the main jobs of the safer neighbourhoods team is to patrol the local area so that there is a strong police presence on the streets. One advantage of these patrols is that it deters many young people away from the area and prevents the likelyhood of anti-social behaviour occuring.
As the theme for our news report is anti-social, I thought that it would be a good idea to interview a PCSO about their thoughts on anti-social behaviour in the area and for them to make comments on reasons why they believe it is on the increase.
