Making the title sequence

We looked at several different title sequences for different news programmes and we found that, especially with ITV, they included quick snap shots and film clips of the stories and news items that they were going to cover in the programme.

As a result of this we decided to do the same, because the weather was snowy for a very long time we decided to use this to our advantage and shot small video clips of people broken down in the snow, which is the clip that we have decided to use.

We also decided that we would use the clock tower in Bexleyheath Broadway as our own version of the Big Ben in London.

We also thought about many events and circumstances that are happening in and around london at this current time and we decided that the current recession was still extremely relevant, as a result of this we have included a short clip of a graph in our title sequence which shows a moving graph which conveys the rise and fall of the economy.

  1. I like the way the graph comes out towards the viewer, that could be very effective with the right music and voiceover.
