Chosen Subject Idea

We have decided on the subject of Anti- Social Behaviour (ASBO) for our news report. We decided on this subject because we felt that it was a subject that a lot of our peers are faced with at this moment in time.

We also felt that this was a very current topic because the government have just released a new document known as the 'policing pledge' which concentrates on tackling anti-social behaviour.

The policing pledge can be found on the link below

I decided to interview different members of the community on their thoughts of the growing problem of Anti- Social Behaviour. As a result of this I have emailed the local safer Neighbourhood team which is made up of one sergant and two PCSO's.

Using Google search engine I found bexley Boroughs Metropolitan site and managed to contact the team Via the website.

Below is a copy of the email that I sent to them...

Hi,

Our names are Lauren and Faye and we are currently studying A2 Media at The Grammar School for Girls Wilmington. However Lauren lives in Erith and we thought that you would probably be the best team to ask. As part of our coursework we are creating a 5 minute news report and we have decided on the topic of Anti-Social Behaviour. We were just wondering if it would be possible for us to do a 2 minute interview with a member of your team? Many Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Lauren & Faye
