ITV have recently changed the theme tune and opening sequence of their news programme, the new sequence reflects a modern feel which is more likely to relate the younger audiences that ITV are trying to appeal to.
In comparison to the 2009 revamp sequence, this ITV news opening sequence is considerably basic. This opening sequence is based solely on one of the capitals most famous land mark buildings, Big Ben. Having this as the main focus of the title sequence quickly makes the viewers aware of the origin of this news report.
In the first paragraph you talk about audience which is good, but you need to explain what features make it modern: you could say it's the fast moving tracking shot through the minimalist studio with multiple images that look like something from virtual reality.
